Who Are We?

Founded in 2000 by Fr. Thuan and two friends in San Francisco, the Blind Vietnamese Children Foundation supports the Nhat Hong Thi Nghe Home for the Blind in Ho Chi Minh City and has helped expand to nine homes and schools with almost 500 visually impaired students. The Foundation also funds healthcare centers for visually impaired children administered by other lay or religious groups. Governed by a volunteer board of directors, the Foundation is supported by donors who give generously through fundraising events, including benefit luncheons and dinners with auctions and raffles, creating a diverse and inclusive community dedicated to helping visually impaired children in Vietnam live promising lives.
