Thien Hoa Center for The Blind is located in the North of Vietnam, about 30 km from Hanoi. The current building is raising 17 blind children, though there are several other blind children from Bac Ninh Province, Ha Noi, Thai Nguyen and Bac Giang wanting to be accepted at the shelter. However, due to the limit space, the shelter cannot receive any more blind children.

To mark the fifteenth year of its birth, the Foundation has started a new project to build a new one so the Sisters can receive more children. The new center has been constructed into a six story building to accommodate approximately 100 children with visual impairments in the future. The total cost was estimated 400K. Up to this year the Foundation could raise 300K for this project.

We have a huge mission to help the blind children in the North of Vietnam to have faith and hope, and to give them the knowledge and necessary skills to be able to function in society, living happily and independently, leading to a better future.

During the past two years, from the beginning, we have received much support from the sponsors near and far. Due to increasing cost in supplies, we still cannot finish the construction.

Therefore, we wish your continuing generosity and support so the structure can be completed soon, giving blind children a place to come for activity, study, and receiving the best help in education.

Please join us to bring hope to these special children by placing your bricks onto this center.
